Ummm... speak for yourself, Dan. Although, to be fair, I'll concede that a very small percentage of moms do put a leash on kids who tend to wander off in shopping malls.
I wish I could have seen the former Vice President's reaction when he realized what he'd said. I picture him doing an I-could've-had-a-V8 knock to his forehead, saying, "Not AGAIN!"
