Kamala Harris Evades Question About US/Mexico Border

Vice President is rude to Reporter

Apparently, Vice President Kamala Harris doesn't like to talk about the US-Mexico border.

And who could blame her?

Context

Under the Biden Administration, the United States experienced unprecedented illegal immigration that jeopardized border security and the welfare of both Americans and immigrants, alike.

In March 2021, President Joe Biden asked Vice President Harris to find a solution to the "situation" at the U.S. - Mexico border. According to Harris, Biden put her in charge of the administration's "response" but stopped short of giving her the official title of "Border Czar." The media ran with it anyway and shortly after people started asking why the Border Czar had never been to the border-- NBC news anchor Lester Holt among them.

Hold sat down with Harris while she was in Guatemala looking for the "root cause of immigration to the United States." He asked her,  "'Why not visit the border? Why not see what Americans are seeing in this crisis?'"

Harris said, "Well, we are going to the border We have to deal with what's happening at the border, there's no question about that. That's not a debatable point. But we have to understand that there's a reason people are arriving at our border and ask what is that reason and then identify the problem so we can fix it."

Later in the interview Holt asked, "Do you have any plans to visit the border?" To which Harris replied, visibly frustrated,

"At some point, you know, we are going to the border. We've been to the border. So this whole thing about the border. We've been to the border. We've been to the border."

"You haven't been to the border." Holt pressed.

"And I haven't been to Europe.Harris snapped.
